A PPN emits strongly in infrared radiation, and is a kind of reflection nebula . 4. HD 259431 is seen against NGC 2247, a small reflection nebula and star-forming region. 5. The surrounding reflection nebula NGC 1555 is illuminated by T Tauri, and thus is also variable in luminosity. 6.
