11. The monthly journal was formed to publish the members of a small Baltimore literary society the Delphian Club. 12. Water from this spring was sacred; it was used to clean the Delphian temples and inspire the priestesses. 13. The Delphian School in Yamhill County, near Sheridan, houses the offices of Delphi Schools and Heron Books. 14. They remained in the Spartan League until finishing runners up in 1958 and being promoted to the Delphian League. 15. In 1957 the club switched to the Delphian League, finishing as runners-up in their first season. 16. The next season saw them move from the Spartan League to become one of the founder members of the Delphian League. 17. They started playing in the London League, where they remained for ten years until joining the Delphian League in 1962. 18. In 1962, with the dissolution of the Delphian League, the club joined the Athenian League in its new Division Two. 19. In 1959 the club transferred to the Delphian League, which they won in their second season and again in their third. 20. In 1952 the club left the Isthmian League to join the Spartan League, before switching to the Delphian League in 1954.
