11. Callaghan was subsequently appointed to the position of House Surgeon at the Rockhampton Hospital. 12. Burn completed his training at St Bartholomew's Hospital and became a House Surgeon there. 13. Weber was educated at House Physician and House Surgeon at St . Bartholomew's Hospital. 14. In 1910 the first female house surgeon was appointed. 15. On qualifying, he became the assistant house surgeon and obstetrical assistant at Westminster Hospital, London. 16. From the mid to late 1970s, Dr Samisoni worked as a house surgeon in Queensland. 17. Even when " unqualified " he served as House Surgeon in the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. 18. In 1939 he was accepted into the Junior House Surgeon , Royal Informatory, in Edinburgh, Scotland. 19. He moved to Barbados and became house surgeon at the Barbados General Hospital in 1937. 20. He went to work as resident house surgeon at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary on Lauriston Place.
