11. Special equipment included : EDO pontoon fittings with structural bearing, steel interplane struts . 12. The aircraft features interplane struts and cabane struts. 13. The interplane struts were also simple parallel pairs. 14. These were braced with parallel interplane struts , assisted by piano-wire bracing. 15. Stabilising floats were fitted directly to the lower wing underside below the interplane struts . 16. The interplane struts were quite wide chord, their twin triangular members covered in fabric. 17. Stabilising floats with planing bottoms were fixed to the lower wing below the outermost interplane struts . 18. The lower wing was slightly decreased in span so the outboard interplane struts now leaned outwards. 19. The interplane struts leaned strongly outwards. 20. Despite its low price the aircraft included structural refinements such as hollow-section interplane struts .
