11. ERE was devised and produced by two Bath rugby fanatics, Glen Leat and Clive Banks. 12. It ceased mill operations by 1839 and by 1885 both the leat and millpond had disappeared. 13. The fishponds that the leat drained into would also have to be of late medieval date. 14. Streams on the west are now captured by a water leat and diverted into Thirlmere reservoir. 15. The water wheel was powered by a leat running from the canal to the River Taff. 16. This was actually simply a widening of an existing leat and proved unsatisfactory as a canal. 17. There are also several streams, irrigation canals ( generally unused and abandoned ) and a leat . 18. Despite many considerations and plans to put the leat to good use, little has been preserved. 19. At leat the MJ editing community is trying to make a sincere effort to improve MJ articles. 20. A weir diverted water to the mill's leat , supplying the vertical breast-shot wheel.
