11. The gravel path from the lych gate leads to a circular area with a central tree. 12. The lych gate and stone wall illustrate the revived use of such traditional features during this period. 13. Steel gates with a concave top edge are fixed to the garden side of the lych gate . 14. The entrance is marked by a lych gate , rare in Scotland and more common in southern England. 15. It is approached through a lych gate and up a steeply climbing path from the village high street. 16.
