11. The park protects a mostly palustrine wetland within the catchments of Baffle Creek and Kolan River. 12. There is a palustrine wetland in the vicinity of an unnamed tributary to Little Brier Run. 13. It rests upon a 41, 800 square metre palustrine site of clay, loam and silt. 14. The river has a catchment area of of which an area of is composed of palustrine wetlands. 15. One type of wetland is the various palustrine , which is scattered in small areas along the creek. 16. The park, established in 1977, encompasses an area of and is within the riverine and palustrine ecosystem. 17. These pipelines would affect of Little Brier Run itself in addition to 762 square feet of palustrine forest wetland. 18. Ecosystems on the mountain include an Ephemeral / Fluctuating Pool Natural Community and a Hemlock Palustrine Forest Natural Community. 19. In the northwestern portion of the watershed there are palustrine unconsolidated bottom and palustrine forested broad-leaved deciduous wetlands. 20.
