11. It was executed on 12 January 1720 and was proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury in October 1721. 12. In 1641 Duck contested the appointment of Sir William Meyrick as judge of the prerogative court of Canterbury, unsuccessfully. 13. By a patent confirmed on 15 July 1571 he was constituted joint-keeper of the prerogative court of Canterbury. 14. On 18 January 1633 / 4 a probate administration was recorded in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury for a William Barret. 15. His will, made on 20 February 1555 / 6, was proved at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury on 10 June 1556. 16. On 21 May 1771, in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, Administration ( with the Will annexed ) were granted to her. 17. On 4 January she wrote her own will and instructed her executors to continue her fight at the Prerogative Court after her death. 18. Lucy died of an illness aged about 39, and her will was proved at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury on 13 January 1784. 19. His will in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury referred to him as though he were accorded the accolade of a British knight, viz .: 20.
