All lemurs belong to the suborder Strepsirrhini within the order Primates. 18. Stenophlebioidea is the sister group of Liassostenophlebiidae within the suborder Stenophlebioptera. 19. There are three recognised suborders : Aseptatorina, Blastogregarinorina and Septatorina. 20. These have certain characteristics that are intermediate between the two other suborders .
