When at last the absences are noticed, Telamon accuses Jason of leaving Heracles behind on purpose. 16. In Apollodorus "'Library ", Telamon was almost killed during the siege of Troy. 17. Heracles gave Laomedon's daughter Hesione as a prize to Telamon instead of keeping her for himself. 18. Heracles ( along with Oicles and Telamon ) rescued her at the last minute and killed the monster. 19. In an earlier account recorded by Pherecydes of Leros, Telamon and Peleus were not brothers, but friends. 20. Telamon took Hesione as a war prize and married her, and she gave birth to Teucer by him.
