11. The Tolbooth Steeple was where the public hangings of Glasgow used to occur. 12. The baronies of Broughton and Restalrig also had tolbooths . 13. The tolbooth may also have served as the guardhouse of the town guard. 14. Notable buildings in the town include Tain Tolbooth and St Duthus Collegiate Glenmorangie distillery. 15.
