11. The thick leaves are linear to lance-shaped with rolled, untoothed edges and reaching up to 7 centimeters. 12. The leaves are elliptical and waxy, unlobed and untoothed unlike the multi-lobed leaves found on most maples. 13. The scales are long and wide, with untoothed , often brown, margins and long, drawn-out tips. 14. It has tubular flowers in shades of blue to violet and white and more-or-less triangular untoothed leaves. 15. The apical half of the leaves have toothed or serrated margins while the remainder of the leaves are entire ( untoothed ). 16. They are long, 0.3 to 0.6 millimetres wide, and entire ( untoothed ) at the edges. 17. Leaves are pinnately compound with 13-17 lanceolate entire ( untoothed ) or with small teeth, green and shiny above but whitish and pubescent below. 20. It has more-or-less triangular untoothed leaves and tubular flowers in various shades of pink, red or blue to violet with white bases.
