21. In the present day, volcanism is of andesitic composition forming volcanic cones. 22. Volcanic activity has generated first dacitic lava flows and subsequently andesitic lava flows. 23. The former two are andesitic , while the latter is a pyroclastic cone. 24. The andesitic lavas contain phenocrysts of andesine, hornblende, plagioclase and hypersthene. 25. These preceding centres have left andesitic lava flows that are partially dissected and agglomerates. 26. It is located near both Tomakomai and andesitic stratovolcano, with a lava dome. 27. The volcano developed during the Pleistocene of andesitic -to-dacitic lava flows. 28. The initial activity was andesitic , but later became rhyolytic ( 12 Ma ). 29. The volcanism is at first andesitic and later becomes intermediary between andesite and basalt. 30. The most recent volcanic phase began about 4 mya, producing largely andesitic eruptions.
