31. He went on to establish the Department of Physiology and Biochemistry at University of Southampton where he remained throughout his career. 32. In 1939 she became lecturer in the department of physiology at Edinburgh University, where she remained until she retired in 1972. 33. In 1975, Glass joined the Department of Physiology at McGill University, where he is now Professor and the Isadore Rosenfeld Chair in Cardiology. 40. Rahn later joined the University at Buffalo in 1956 as the Lawrence D . Bell Professor and Chairman of the Department of Physiology .
