31. On 2 September 1943, the " Krait " left Exmouth Gulf and departed for Singapore. 32. After a relatively uneventful voyage, the " Krait " arrived off Singapore on September 24. 33. The raiders waited until the commotion had died down before returning to the " Krait ". 34. Because these sea kraits spend much of their time on land, they are often encountered by humans. 35. As at 02 January 2017 the MV Krait was not on display at the Australian National Maritime Museum. 36. He claims to have a snake ( the poisonous krait ) on his stomach, underneath the covers. 37. Drop for drop, the krait 's venom is many times more poisonous than a cobra's. 38. On 19 October the " Krait " arrived back at Exmouth Gulf having achieved a great success. 39. While probing crevices with their head, sea kraits are unable to observe approaching predators and can be vulnerable. 40. Female kraits are larger and slower than males, and many males will escort and intertwine around a single female.
