31. Each flower has reflexed white or greenish sepals a few millimeters long and smaller whitish petals. 32. The labellum appears long and narrow, since its sides are strongly reflexed ( folded back ). 33. The plentiful, hanging flowers are rounded structures with reflexed corollas and starlike arrays of bulbous anthers. 34. Behind the flowers are four smaller sepals, which are greenish and reflexed back against the pedicel. 35. The inflorescence bears several flowers with reflexed dark blue sepals and a spur over a centimeter long. 36. The showy flower has five pointed sepals in shades of purple-red which are reflexed upward. 37. Columellar margin is thickened, free, arcuate, reflexed , ending in a distinct basal sinus. 38. They are reflexed away from the flower's center, which contains one anthers containing pollen. 39. The glaucous bluish-green leaves are mostly reflexed and rough ( like sand-paper ). 40. They are erect while the flowerhead is blooming, but eventually become reflexed when the achenes mature.
