41. The freight house burned in 1964. 42. There were telegraph operators, clerks, track crews, a freight house , Railway Express, a depot, hotel, even a restaurant. 43. The freight house itself is used for festival activities, and is located along a pair of spur tracks. 44. Alumuchy Freight House is located on the Paulinskill Valley Trail at the east side of County Road 617. 45. The freight house has since disappeared. 46. In 2003, the car was moved across South Street to its present location next to the freight house . 47. In 1995 the freight house , one of the last remaining railroad buildings in town, burned due to arson. 48. The eastbound ramp is near Morris Street and the westbound ramp is just west of the old freight house . 49. The freight house was built by the Lehigh and Hudson River Railway and is the only one still remaining. 50. Approvals were subsequently issued for converting the station house and the extended freight house into a pair of restaurants.
