41. Our membership includes individuals from psychology, neuroscience, sociology, museology , art history, philosophy, musicology, and other domains. 42. He also taught museology at the George Washington University in Washington, D . C ., during the early 70's. 43. On 12 December 2014, the museum was awarded the prize for Best Portuguese Museum of 2014 by the Portuguese Association of Museology . 44. He has also taught at the Master Program in Museum Architecture and Museology at the Faculty of Architecture, Central University of Venezuela. 45. He was co-director of the master's degree in Didactics of Museology ( Les Heures-University of Barcelona ). 46. The museum is today part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and has been described as the " crowning achievement of American museology ." 47. Finally, in 2006 the museum reopened its doors, but with a new type of museology which was much more educational and dynamic. 48. He also played a significant part in the creation of The National Museum Institute of History of Art, Conservation and Museology in 1983. 49. He earned his PhD . degree at the University of Zagreb on the basis of thesis Towards a Methodology of Museology ( 1993 ). 50. There he was also the director of the academy s International Master Degree Programme in Museology ( 1998-2001 and 2005-2010 ).
