1. The cervix may be duplicated in situations such as bicornuate uterus and uterine didelphys. 2. Affected women have been found to have vaginal agenesis, hypoplastic, or bicornuate uterus . 3. The genital tract is usually normal in females except for a report of a bicornuate uterus . 4. An " obstructed bicornuate uterus " showing uni or bilateral obstruction might also be possible. 5. The prosimians have retained the primitive mammalian condition of a bicornuate uterus , with two separate uterus chambers. 6. The condition is less common than these other uterine malformations : arcuate uterus, septate uterus, and bicornuate uterus . 7. Previously, a bicornuate uterus was thought to be associated with infertility, but recent studies have not confirmed such an association. 9. Evidence is lacking regarding progestogen IUD usage for menorrhagia in bicornuate uterus , but a case report showed good effect with a single IUD. 10. In humans, a bicornuate uterus is a type of uterine malformation, but in some other mammalian species, including rodents and pigs, it is normal.
