The group excludes the ralated group of whales ( Cetacea ). 4. The infraorder Cetacea includes whales, dolphins and porpoises. 5. The order Cetacea includes whales, dolphins and porpoises. 6. The order Cetacea is monophyletic; all cetaceans share a common evolutionary ancestor. 7. Harbor porpoises are the most frequently sighted cetacea . 8. The traditional order Artiodactyla and infraorder Cetacea are therefore now subsumed into the Cetartiodactyla taxon. 9.
