1. The eyes are large and surrounded by 9 16 circumorbital scales. 2. The circumorbital ring consists of 16-25 scales. 3. The eye is surrounded by a circumorbital ring of 5-7 scales. 4. There are 10 12 ( rarely 8 18 ) small circumorbital scales below the supraocular. 5. The circumorbital ring includes 2 preoculars, 2 postoculars and 1-2 subocular scales. 6. There are 13-15 circumorbital scales with an incomplete outer ring of 13-17 scales. 7. There are 11-12 circumorbital scales, while two rows separate the eye from the supralabials. 8. The eyes are large and moveable, set well forward, and surrounded by 15 21 circumorbital scales. 9. The circumorbital ring consists of 2-3 preoculars, 1-2 postoculars and 1-2 suboculars. 10. Circumorbital scales towards the ventral or lower side, if any, are called "'subocular "'scales.
