Its western side is fringed by a narrow reef and coral rocks awash. 4. They are rough flat coral rocks , about four feet high and two feet wide. 5. Because of the hard coral rock under the soil, the tombs are above ground. 6. It sometimes grows on sparsely vegetated coral rock and just above the high tide mark. 7. The islet consists almost entirely of pieces of rough coral rock thrown up by surf. 8. Floating pile-drivers then drove steel-pointed piles into the coral rock until they were securely fixed. 9.
