1. The anal and cubital areas of the hindwings are pale brown. 2. There exists a fair amount of variation of the median cubital vein. 3. The forewings are dull dark grey with a lighter cubital vein and discal spot. 4. The hindwings are usually darker than the forewings in the cubital and anal areas. 5. The brachial artery continues to the cubital fossa in the anterior compartment of the arm. 6. This protection is important during venipuncture ( taking blood ) from the median cubital vein. 7. Damage to or deformity of the elbow joint increases the risk of cubital tunnel syndrome. 8. Bilateral cubital tunnel syndrome may also be found in patients with Dahl's sign. 9. The hindwings are cream, mixed with pale brownish in the anal and cubital parts. 10. The cubital vein is variably dark scaled.
