1. Ground training included aerodynamics, astronavigation, meteorology, propulsion and many other disciplines.2. They were labeled " GTD-21Bs " ( GT stood for ground training ). 3. The Air Force called them GTD-21Bs with the GT standing for Ground Training . 4. Ground training utilises the Defence Training Estate, commercial ranges and privately owned land.5. Long Branch became the Cadet Ground Training School for the Royal Flying Corps. 6. The grounded airframes were either scrapped or used for ground training . 7. It did not conduct any flight training after 6 February, but continued ground training . 8. Three groups of United pilots and instructors began their 777 ground training in November. 9. These winds created much havoc with the aerial observation, ground training , and balloon handling. 10. Until the start of 2008, the base belonged to the Air Force's Ground Training Wing.
