Cortico-olivary fibers synapse bilaterally in the inferior olivary nucleus. 4. The trapezoid body is a bundle of superior olivary nucleus. 5. Sound elevation cues are not processed in the olivary complex. 6. Purkinje cells also receive input from the inferior olivary nucleus via climbing fibers. 7. Olivocerebellar fibers are neurons that have their cell bodies in the inferior olivary nucleus. 8. The input to the OHC is from the olivary body via the medial olivocochlear bundle. 9. Many collaterals from the reticular formation and from the pyramids enter the inferior olivary nucleus. 10. A group of nuclei in pons make up the superior olivary complex ( SOC ).
