"Plateosaurus " is a member of a group of early herbivores known as " melanorosaurids ". 6. Weishampel explained the curious monospecific assemblage by theorizing that " Plateosaurus " were common during this period. 7. Some of the bones, including a complete Plateosaurus , are now on display in the " Sauriermuseum ". 8. It is mostly closely related to the " Plateosaurus ", which lived about 210 million years ago in Germany. 9. The more common prosauropods " Plateosaurus " and " Massospondylus " were placed in the sister clade Plateosauria. 10.
