1. Leaves are mistaken as marijuana, but radiatus 'stems have small thorns. 2. "Hymenopappus radiatus " is a perennial herb up to tall. 3. Spiriferids first appear in the Late Ordovician with the appearance of " Eospirifer radiatus ". 4. The only other member of the genus is the allopatric Madagascan harrier-hawk ( " Polyboroides radiatus " ). 5. The variety " radiatus " is associated with cloud rows of a particular type that appear to converge at the horizon. 6. In South Africa, the spider " Selenops radiatus " has proved to be an effective controlling agent for this species. 7. This beetle has been noted feeding on the fungus " Inonotus radiatus ", which grows on several types of trees. 8. Found in southern China, it was specific epithet " radiatus " refers to the distinct radial arrangement of the hymenophore. 9. Further revisions recognised the priority of " Caranx radiatus " as the first description and agreed with the placement in a monotypic genus. 10. Since Whitley's " Pantolabus " came first, it had priority, creating the currently accepted name of " Pantolabus radiatus ".
