1. In Buckinghamshire children sit tests in Verbal Reasoning , Mathematics and Non-Verbal reasoning. 2. The examination tests a student's ability to solve problems using verbal reasoning and mathematics. 5. The Verbal Reasoning section follows the Physical Sciences section and an optional 10-minute break. 6. In Essex, where the examination is optional, children sit Verbal Reasoning , Mathematics and English. 7.
