1. Its colour is uniform white, or white with narrow ochraceous spiral lines . 2. Pipe spiral lines starting from the center of the cake. 3. The surface is somewhat glossy, with faint, fine growth-lines and barely perceptible spiral lines . 4. Spiral bevel gears have their teeth formed along spiral lines . 5. It traced a clear sound-modulated spiral line through a thin black coating on a glass disc. 6. The numerous narrow red spiral lines are characteristic. 7. The intercostal spaces are smooth or crossed bv more or less distinct, incised, sometimes raised, spiral lines . 8. The outer lip is thin and is joined by the body whorl above the upper spiral line . 9. Some brown spiral lines , especially those at the periphery, may be represented by separate streaks which curve axially. 10. A second slightly gemmed thread appears on the body whorl, and 2 fine spiral lines on the anterior tabulation.
