1. Used in high doses, auxin stimulates the production of ethylene. 2. TasiR-ARF is responsible for regulating the signaling molecule auxin . 3. The mechanism of apical dominance is based on the plant hormone auxin . 4. Auxin participates in phototropism, geotropism, hydrotropism and other developmental changes.5. This process requires modification of the auxin transporters ( PIN proteins ). 6. Applying auxin to the cut stem again inhibits lateral dominance. 7. This suggests a role for auxin signalling in stress tolerance. 8. Touched cells produce auxin and transport it to untouched cells. 9. It is supposed that this is due to auxin or ethylene formation. 10. They are similar to auxins and most are biodegradable by soil bacteria.
