1. Cerussite crystallizes in the orthorhombic system and is isomorphous with aragonite.2. It occurs with smithsonite, gebhardite, willemite, cerussite and sauconite. 3. Cross-joints show beautiful pyromorphite and crocoite, occasionally also cerussite . 4. Carminite also occurs as masses mixed with cerussite , anglesite and plumbojarosite. 5. The cerussite is of extremely good quality and diversity. 6. It occurs in the upper lead deposits through the oxidation of galena or cerussite . 7. Emmonsite is found, often with quartz or cerussite in the Tombstone, Arizona area. 8. In upper levels, the ore minerals are oxidized to cerussite , anglesite, and smithsonite. 9. The Magellan Mine is an open cut cerussite ( lead carbonate ) mine and concentrating facility. 10. It occurs associated with smithsonite, hemimorphite, willemite, cerussite , aurichalcite, calcite and limonite.
