1. Like amazon parrots and macaws, cockatoos frequently develop cloacal papillomas. 2. The animal's cloacal glands give it a generally musty smell. 3. Most species also have cloacal sacs and fixed eyelids. 4. Externally, a swelling called the genital tubercule appears over the cloacal membrane. 5. The pouches on the diagram labeled as 2 are the paired cloacal bursae. 6. Most male birds ave no seminal glomera within the cloacal protuberance prior to copulation. 7.
