1. These are a group of sandstones defined as feldspathic greywacke. 2. The feldspathic formulations are, however, more resilient and suffer less pyroplastic deformation. 3. It grows on fine-grained sheared quartz and feldspar rock containing feldspathic quartzite. 4. Shales are occasionally thus altered by basalt dikes, and feldspathic sandstones may be completely vitrified. 5. High albedo, feldspathic material is the dominant component of the finest particles of lunar soil. 6. The Herreria Formation from the Lower Cambrian consists of shale and feldspathic sandstone alternating, with some conglomerate. 7. The Rietvlei Formation consists of alternating horizons of light grey quartzose and feldspathic sandstone, siltstone and shale. 8. The La Vida Member is a micaceous, platy siltstone with subordinate amounts of thin-bedded feldspathic sandstone. 9. It consists of thick-bedded, micaceous, feldspathic quartzite that is light grey, pink, to purplish. 10. The formation consists of two members : clastic, mostly feldspathic various grained sandstones, and volcano erupted-alkali lavas.
