1. The frustum and drogue parachute continue on a separate trajectory to splashdown. 2. The tower is formed as a " frustum of a cone ". 3. The frustum is then pulled away from the SRB by the drogue chute. 4. Each is a hollow mast resembling a truncated cone ( or frustum ). 5. The perspective viewing volume is a frustum , that is, a truncated pyramid. 6. The main crossing towers are tall with one crossarm atop a frustum framework construction. 7. In beam tracing, a pyramidal beam is initially cast through the entire viewing frustum . 8. Frustums are then dictated by visual inspection.9. The main chute suspension lines are pulled out from deployment bags that remain in the frustum . 10. The RSRM nozzle extension is severed by a pyrotechnic charge about 20 seconds after frustum separation.
