Later as Nick Cutter swims through the anomaly he finds himself in a tropical sea with a flock of " Hesperornis " swimming around him. 9. Alternately, some researchers have used Ornithurae to refer to a more restrictive node-based clade, anchored on " Hesperornis " and modern birds. 10. The teeth of " Hesperornis " were present along nearly the entire lower jaw ( dentary ) and the back of the upper jaw ( maxilla ).
