1. The first dorsal interosseous muscle is larger than the others. 2. The compression neuropathy is referred to an Anterior Interosseous Syndrome. 3. It also anastomoses with the anterior interosseous artery and the posterior interosseous artery. 4. It also anastomoses with the anterior interosseous artery and the posterior interosseous artery. 5. The tendons unite with the interosseous and lumbrical muscles to form the extensorhood mechanism. 6. The dorsal interosseous ligaments are very strong ligaments. 7. There is little sensory deficit since the anterior interosseous nerve has no cutaneous branch. 8. The deep interosseous ligaments resist the load of the sacrum relative to the ilium. 9. Arterial blood comes via the interosseous artery. 10. It passes backward between the oblique cord and the upper border of the interosseous membrane.
