The andesite and monzonite are cut by dikes of dacite and rhyolite. 4. The monzonite hills loom over the landscape in assemblies of great squarish boulders. 5. The Basin area is underlain by the quartz monzonite of the Boulder Batholith. 6. The mountain is composed of banatite rock with an outer rim of Monzonite . 7.
