1. In such cases these deposits are called " skarn deposits ". 2. Skarn deposits are another manifestation of intrusive-related deposits.3. It occurs in retrograde metamorphic environment as fractures cutting garnet diopside skarn . 4. It also occurs in skarn , pegmatite and hydrothermally altered volcanic rocks. 5. In Dupezeh Mountain, Iraq, it occurs in melilite bearing skarn . 6. If the intruded rock is rich in carbonate the result is a skarn . 7. Carbon in the gases may come from skarn assimilation. 8. Ludwigite typically occurs in magnesian iron skarn and other high temperature contact metamorphic deposits. 9. Campigliaite is a rare secondary mineral formed when metallic sulfide skarn deposits are oxidized. 10. It occurs in the Korshunovskoye iron skarn deposit in the Irkutsk Oblast of Eastern Siberia.
