1. The costa has a subcostal break and the subcosta is incomplete. 2. The costa is unbroken and the subcosta is apparent on the insect. 3. The subcosta is incomplete fusing with Radial vein 1 before the apex. 4. The subcosta always fuses with the costa through Sc1. 5. Costa with two interruptions one more distal to the humeral crossvein and one before subcosta . 6. There is a hyaline oblique postdiscal band reaching from the subcosta almost to the termen. 7. There are also two faint white blotches from each set of cell markings to the subcosta . 8. In Diptera are the wing-veins are costa, subcosta , radial, medial and cubital. 9. The subbasal line is represented by blackish hues at the base of the subcosta , cell and vein 1. 10. In Chalcidoidea ( Chalcid wasps ), for instance, only the subcosta and part of the radius are present.
