1. The lakes extends upstream to the tailrace of Mica Dam. 2. Bank access is also available in the reservoir's tailrace area. 3. In 1997, Montana Power repainted and renovated the Tailrace Island bridge. 4. Hydro tailrace fishing occurs in the discharge of hydroelectric power stations below a dam. 5. The water then gushes out of the plant into the tailrace leading to Elderberry Lake. 6. Greater than anticipated friction between the water and the tailrace tunnel walls meant reduced head. 7. Most of this water is returned to the river further downstream via a tailrace canal. 8. Its wheel pit still remains, as does the tailrace leading back into Bentley Brook. 9. After passing through the station, the water is deposited into the Tokaanu Tailrace Canal. 10. Also the tailrace which discharged water to hanyang river was completed in width 80 m.
