1. Historically the term Kimmeridgian has been used in two different ways. 2. The earliest known ctenochasmatid remains date to the Late Jurassic Kimmeridgian age. 3. "Pliosaurus portentificus " is known from the late Kimmeridgian of England. 4. They lived during the Jurassic ( Kimmeridgian ). 5. It was found in layer of the lower Morrison Formation dating from the Kimmeridgian . 6. It lived in the Upper Jurassic ( Kimmeridgian , about 145 million years ago ). 7. It is a period ( Kimmeridgian age ) in what is now Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. 8. It is known only from vertebrae recovered from Kimmeridgian rocks in the Morrison Formation, Colorado. 9. In the Basque country, the sea had withdrawn already at the end of the Kimmeridgian . 10. This genus is known from the early Kimmeridgian to Late Eocene ( J�ger, 2004 ).
