Oral treaments for Tinea include Lamisil, Sporanox, and Diflucan. 6. Infection usually occurs as Tinea capitis with suppuration and kerion formation. 7. It is typically more aggressive than tinea pedis but similar in look. 8. When used for tinea cruris, it can result in extreme burning. 9. Tinea barbae is due to a dermatophytic infection around the bearded area of men.10. There are several varieties of Tinea , which are classified depending on their location.
