Verdona then promised to return every so often to see how Gwen was doing.5. He also had quite a genuine strong and close romantic relationship with an Anodite alien named Verdona . 6. Gwen tells Verdona that she cannot leave her friends, not while the Earth is in such danger. 7. However it seems that their mutually strong romance had slightly deteriorated as Verdona left Earth to return to her home world. 8. She appears first time in " What are Little Girls Made Of " when Verdona comes to Earth to visit Gwen and Frank. 9. Verdona and Max had met in the beginning of the 1960s, in 1962, during President John F . Kennedy's presidency.10. They had two sons together, Carl and Frank, though neither of them showed any signs of inheriting Verdona 's incredible abilities.
