1. In flight, a whitish wingbar contrasts with the grey wing. 2. It has narrower wings and a narrower white wingbar . 3. There is a strong white wingbar , and fleshy red wattles above the eye. 4. In flight, its bold black and white wingbar and white rump can be seen readily. 5. The wings have one conspicuous wingbar , a slight second bar and whitish edges to the tertials. 6. It had brown upperparts, reddish underparts, a white wingbar , and some white on the face and throat. 7. Measuring about 15cm, it is a smaller version of the Scarlet Minivet, only differentiated by wingbar markings and size. 8.
